A teacher and social entrepreneur, Pat has spent most of the last eleven years in education and entrepreneur development. He most recently was a professor in the Business Department at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani for six years, focused on finance and accounting, and sponsored a variety of entrepreneurship-related activities at the university. He was also the proud head coach of the university’s women’s basketball team. Prior to his time in Iraq, Pat was a business development consultant in Ethiopia and Small Enterprise Development volunteer in the Peace Corps in Cameroon. He has an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and a BS in Financial Management from Clemson University. Prior to graduate school, he worked in finance and investment banking at Bank of America. 

Pat is passionate about using business principles for social impact and equality at home and abroad, running, and all things Pittsburgh.
