Impact Hub São Paulo is a part of an international network that aims to inspire, connect and enable individuals and institutions around the world to sustainably impact society. Impact Hubs unite people from all professions, knowledge areas, and cultures in a diverse, creative, and innovative network with the shared focus of changing the world. Impact Hubs are located in over 60 cities with over 7000 members. The Impact Hub in São Paulo is a very active chapter, with two thriving locations in the Paulista and Vila Madalena neighborhoods that house businesses and projects promoting positive social impact in Brazil. Members include a rotating list of entrepreneurs, social investors, professionals, activists, creatives, consultants, intrapreneurs, students, educators, and entrepreneurs.
Joining the Impact Hub in São Paulo is a must for those working in the local socent scene. For an annual fee, members gain access to a global network of entrepreneurs; relevant content, training and support for their endeavors; co-working spaces for meetings and work; and an active schedule of monthly activities such as exhibitions, lectures, debates, and workshops. Earlier this month I attended one of their events at the Paulista location that launched the Toniic EGuide in Portuguese. It was the most informative event I’ve been to on impact investing. Impact Hub São Paulo has done a great job at creating a strong socent community, and I am really looking forward to becoming a part of it!
