We’re looking for a fabulous full-time employee to bring structure and replicability to our model as we grow. This role (title TBA based on selected candidate’s experience) will involve designing and overseeing systems, finding efficiencies and automation, optimizing our hardworking team’s efforts and coordination, and researching best practice and imagining new better ways of doing something so that our NYC team can fire at 1,000% and we can build out new city operations.

- know and love the power and challenges of systems, particularly in early stage startups and/or the training industry, and have a strong sense of pragmatism to understand how much structure is possible and desirable at each stage of growth

- excel at owning a process from start to finish (in this case, creating systems to help us operate efficiently and prepare for scale)

- thrive as a manager, team leader, and coordinator working to get the best out of a team (full-time staff as well as volunteer advisors and interns) and keep us focused, productive, and having fun

- relish the flexibility, ambiguity, and collaboration of startup life and particularly the opportunity (and challenge!) to bring a suitable dose of structure and organization to that magical chaos

- are stubbornly committed to our mission of helping purpose-driven professionals prepare for and find roles in which they’re motivated and able to reach their full potential 

 

Maybe you’ve got some of this experience to share too:

- building and managing financial and operational processes such as internal coordination and communications, accounting (liaising with outsourced accountant), CRM, event management, payroll and HR

- managing and training colleagues to use the systems you’ve built

- serving clients and building and managing systems to serve them better

 

You’d be applying those skills in a very full-time role, reporting directly to IC's Founder & CEO, to

- onboard a new outsourced accounting firm and develop our internal systems for managerial accounting, reimbursements, government contract management, investor relations, and financial analysis 

- engage our inner circle of advisors and potential interns to make the most of their willingness to contribute to our growth 

- manage our contact management, including optimizing a CRM and related systems in close coordination with our marketing and sales, client engagement, and participant recruitment functions

- research and build an employee benefits program suitable for our current stage and prepared for growth

- and other projects that we (including you!) identify in our quest to win the market for professional development for purpose-driven professionals
